European stocks continue negative streak, weaken for second session

European stocks held steady Friday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index XX:SXXP closed down 0.04% to 451.39.

The German DAX DX:DAX was flat at 15,631.82, the FTSE 100 index UK:UKX was flat at 7,338.58 and the French CAC 40 index FR:PX1 rose 0.21% to 7,229.60.
