European stocks decrease for second session

European stocks slipped Thursday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index XX:SXXP finished down 0.20% to 458.19.

The French CAC 40 index FR:PX1 declined 0.65% to 7,316.70, the FTSE 100 index UK:UKX weakened 0.46% to 7,439.13 and the German DAX DX:DAX rose 0.35% to 15,947.08.

A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S Series B DK:MAERSK, a transportation/logistics company, and banking/credit firm Banco de Sabadell S.A. ES:SAB rounded out the top five largest decreases as their stocks fell 5.2% and 5.0%, respectively.

Ocado Group PLC UK:OCDO, a retail company, saw the largest increase among Stoxx Europe 600 constituents, as shares increased 9.9% on Thursday.
