European stocks fall for third day

European stocks were flat Friday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index XX:SXXP finished down 0.01% to 458.13.

The German DAX DX:DAX dropped 0.67% to 15,840.34, the French CAC 40 index FR:PX1 declined 0.27% to 7,296.77 and the FTSE 100 index UK:UKX added 0.34% to 7,464.54.

The yield on the 10-year gilt BX:TMBMKGB-10Y increased 7.59 basis points to 4.437%, and the yield on the German 10-year bund BX:TMBMKDE-10Y increased 8.540 basis points to 2.55%.
