European stocks weaken for fourth day

European stocks held steady Monday, as the Stoxx Europe 600 index XX:SXXP finished down 0.04% to 457.96.

The French CAC 40 index FR:PX1 fell 0.24% to 7,279.51, the FTSE 100 index UK:UKX dropped 0.16% to 7,452.76 and the German DAX DX:DAX was flat at 15,824.85.
